108 Exile Tibetan Artists
and Their Expression of Universal Responsibility and the Environment
This initiative was born from a growing dialogue on cultural expression and the shared responsibility to promote peace and sustainability among Tibetans in exile. Recognizing the urgent need for innovative preservation strategies, a new wave of contemporary art forms has emerged—many of which reimagine traditional Buddhist symbols as powerful tools for social commentary.
The “108 Exile Tibetan Artists and Their Expression of Universal Responsibility and the Environment” project brings together 108 Tibetan artists from across exile communities, ranging from emerging talents to established professionals. Through their diverse artworks, each artist explores the theme of environmental stewardship, collaborating with WhiteLine Graphics and The Rowell Fund for Tibet/ICT to amplify their collective call for urgent action.
